    Important Tuition Information:

Early Bird: Returning campers who register for Summer 2011 by October 29, 2010 will pay Early Bird rates of $3,650 ($4,200 for Bogrim 2nd session) for one session or a discounted rate of $7,140 for a Full Season (Bogrim $7,740). You MUST register by October 29, 2010 to pay these rates!

New Camper Grant: Most first-time campers are eligible for a $1,000 grant towards CYJ Sprout Lake! They are available both for campers who attend Hebrew Day School and for those who attend public school or other private schools. These grants are NOT based upon financial need, but are limited, so apply early to secure your spot AND your grant!

You’ve Got A Friend Program: Want to bring a new camper to Sprout Lake?? Let us know IN ADVANCE who they are and we’ll take $175 off YOUR tuition!

Sibling Discount: The first camper pays full tuition and each additional camper receives $100 off for one session or $200 off for the Full Season.

Alumni Discount: Campers whose parents were campers or staff at CYJ Sprout Lake or at any other Young Judaea camp receive a $50 discount for one session and a $100 discount for the Full Season.

Financial Assistance: Need-based scholarships are available. Please call the camp office to request an application. All applications must be submitted by March 1, 2011.

Annual Campaign: Tuition, programming, and facility upgrades at CYJ Sprout Lake are underwritten by Hadassah and other prominent Jewish community organizations, including the Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy and the Foundation for Jewish Camp. In order to continue offering innovative new programs and expanded facilities – and to meet the increased financial needs of many in our camp community – The Friends of CYJ Sprout Lake engages in an Annual Campaign. Please support these efforts to bring as many Jewish children to CYJ Sprout Lake as possible each year and to upgrade and enhance the campgrounds for all children to enjoy! We welcome your annual campaign commitment at registration each summer and throughout the year. A hearty Todah Rabah to all who can offer support for CYJ Sprout Lake.

    Refund Policy:

A full refund of the deposit, less a $100 processing fee for one session campers or a $200 processing fee for two-session campers, is available for cancellations received by May 1, 2011. All deposits will be forfeited after May 1, 2011. Fifty percent of the tuition paid will be refunded for cancellations after May 1, 2011.

For campers registered for first session, there will be absolutely no refunds for cancellations after Wednesday, June 10, 2011. For campers registered for second session, there will be absolutely no refunds for cancellations after Wednesday, July 8, 2011. Accordingly, there will be no refunds once the session has begun. If your child must arrive late to camp for any reason, we cannot offer a discount or a pro-rated tuition price.

Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake is a non-profit organization with fixed costs for staff, food, and program. The price of tuition covers the actual costs of running the camp; food, programming, office and staff expenses, in addition to maintenance costs, utilities, insurance, and, taxes comprise a good portion of our annual budget.

We therefore cannot issue refunds for incomplete sessions. Once a session has begun or after the dates stated above, no refund will be given under any circumstances.
